Modloft Worth Platform Bed

It was sooo hard to put together. It's very well built, not just wood slats. It has a metal frame and it doesn't give so the wood was hard to get into place. It turned into a two day project. Now that it's done though, it looks great. We've been bumping our shins on the platform, but we kind of knew that would happen.

We recieved this bed and its working out great for us! We love the style and quality and are very happy with the purchase!

We ordered the walnutwhite leather version of this bed. If you are looking for a wood that appears as light as it is shown on this website you are in for a surprise. The walnut was closer to the wenge coloring than traditional walnut is supposed to be

I have a dog and out of just maintenance I don't let her on the bed so she has no issues with slipping, it is silly to take away points because it is not dog friendly. Last I heard it was a bed for humans and it was not bought at Petco. It arrived, very well packaged and protected. I knew it was a white headboard, as you know the pictures show it and the description states it, so I don't know why others subtracted points because it fit the description but was not what they wanted; shouldn't have bought it. Assembly did take a while, but it is very, very well put together. Once you assemble it once, it is okay as the hard part was getting all the minifix fitting screws in, as they were a lot. The wood slats are very well made and they thought about everything, including the rubber spacers so vibration/sound is dampened. My dog is trained to not go on the bed, but at most she will walk on the frame with no issues and not a single scratch has been left by her. At first I was upset that the nightstands are not mounted in, but I understand the reason is that there will always be some shifting in the flooring, whether carpeting or hardwood (which I have). Very beautiful and very well worth it.

Assembling this bed took six hours. My God! Furthermore, the finish is so slick that my dogs injured themselves trying to access the bed, They tried to place their forepaws on the apron; their feet slipped and they bashed their heads against the wood. I am going to glue a new surface over the apron. The one good thing is that the bed looks great.

The bed is wonderful! The wood is nice and solid and is real quality. The only thing that should be considered is the time it takes for the assembly. There are a lot of screws etc. for each piece. I was a little confused by the comments below regarding the width of the bed. The dimensions given INCLUDE the night stands. Since they are separate, we ended up storing one of them for a future home in order to fit the bed. Overall, LOVE LOVE the bed!

Elegant design and great quality bed. Nice wood veneer finish, good construction. However, it did take 2 professionals and an hour and a half to assemble it - it was worth it.

Not as easy as I thought to put together and took a month for shipping but the bed looks awesome!

Love the bed, so comfortable and sleek. We wanted something with clean lines that went well with all white beding.

Great, sturdy beds. Very pleased with construction, design, detail and finish. We bought this bed along with a matching dresser and two night stands. Both the quality of materials and construction are superb. The bed looks much more expensive than it is. We've gotten many compliments.
