Architects Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Ronn, are deeply rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition – which they honor and refine. According to Jonas and Kasper good design meets real needs and satisfies all senses: A classic, recognizable shape with a new, original twist that calls for attention. A surprising, little detail, or a new material enticing you to touch the product, smell it, or enjoy the sound when you put it on the table. Norm brings function and beauty together, always adding that little extra in pursuit of timelessness and soul.Peter Orsig This elegantly designed carafe aerates your wine in one easy step. Simply press the decanter onto the top of an opened bottle of wine and flip it over so that the wine pours into the decanter. You can serve the wine from the decanter, or flip it back over once it's done and pour the aerated wine back into the bottle and serve from the original bottle.

It's much easier to aerate with the carafe then to pour each glass through the Venturi funnel.

This is both a beautiful and functional piece. I would advise any one who purchases the piece, to be aware that when detaching the wine bottle from the carafe to use a paper towel to wrap because the suction that occurs will cause the wine to splatter.
Great and fun to watch!

I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine. The last time I went to dinner at her house, she showed me how to use it. She had tested it once it was in the carafe, then after she returned it to the bottle. She thought it made a huge difference! I enjoyed watching the wine aerate into and out of the carafe.

I've used mine twice, both times I returned the wine to the bottle & used a vacuum plug overnight. The wine was great right away AND the next day. On one of the wines, I tried pouring through my single-glass aerator the next day. Wine did improve a little bit more. So, I'm thinking that re-aerating the bottle the next day is a good idea; haven't tried it yet, myself. Gave one as a gift, too, and it was well-appreciated.

very unique product for decanting and returning to bottle or using as a carafe. Decants beautifully and slowly. A bit fragile feeling however but no problems of yet.
