Enjoyable creativity for preschoolers with little or no assembly. Can change the guiding stick to either left or right hand.

This puppet reminds me of a kindly grandfather, and the kids see him the same way. Very good for story-telling.

We like the king puppet. If you order his wife the queen though, be sure to use them together so you can be sure to tell them apart. The king is kind of skinny, so okay for kids and ladies hands, but tight fit for a mans hand. Very well made, and worth the money!

We use this and the other similarly themed puppets to create puppet shows in our home. All three of my boys enjoy the creativity these toys support and have made more than one production featuring these puppets. The only thing that wasn't 100% great about them is that they come with a stick attached to the hand that is meant to be used as a way to move the puppet's hand. but my boys found in cumbersome and difficult to maneuver. Luckily, the stick is easily removable as it is attached with velcro. This is a well constructed, attractively designed, fun, imaginative play toy that I would recommend for anyone with preschool to school age children.
