Massaud, Jean Marie
French architect, inventor, and designer Jean-Marie Massaud designs products with a certain je ne sais quoi; they keep winning prizes. Massaud has received numerous awards, including the 2006 IF Product Forum Prize, ELLE DECO’s 2005 Designer of the Year, the 2002 Talents du Luxe, Paris, the 1996 Chair of the year (Promosedia dell'Anno), Italy, three Compasso d'Oro prizes, and three Italian Top Ten, awards, to name a few. After graduating from École Nationale Supérieur de Création Industrielle - Les Ateliers, Paris (ENSCI), Massaud went on to redefine the identity of brands like Lancôme, Renault, and Poltrona Frau.
In 2000, Massaud co-founded the Studio Massaud with Daniel Pouzet and expanded his interests in the fields of architecture. He was responsible for large-scale projects like the 50,000-capacity Vulcano Stadium in Guadalajara, Mexico, and Tribeca Condominium Towers in New York.
