French designer Marc Sadler specializes in plastic materials and their processing technologies. Sadler graduated from E.N.S.A.D., Paris and won the Brook Stevens International Design Competition in 1967. He was a member of Design Center 1, the first design group in France, and in 1969 he established Deco Design in the south of France. After years in the sports and industrial sectors, Sadler branched out into furniture, including the technical-specialized segment, where he works with prominent companies.
He opened a studio in Venice and has permanently moved to Milan.
Sadler has won many awards, including the Design PLUS, Compasso d’Oro, and Auszeichnung fur Gutes Design Industrie at Forum Design in Hannover. He was elected creatur de l’Anee at the Paris Salon du Meuble, and holds workshops at the Domus Academy, Milan Polytechnic, and other design schools and universities worldwide.
