Product Details
After their successful cooperation around Still Life in 2005, Studio Job was approached for an entirely new project. They had acquired a rather basic press, which had been made obsolete many years ago by vastly more efficient machines for the ceramic industry. Its advantage, however, is that it allows deeper reliefs than your average state-of-the-art tool. After two years of finding a suitable clay and getting to grips with porcelain, Studio Job was signed on for developing a new collection. 'Bisquit' counts nine different white plates and five objects, based on the designer's characteristics, interwoven with fairy tales and imaginative figures, with white as all-embracing theme. The five objects are different tarts with a function, such as vase, box, candle or lantern. The plates are richly decorated with reliefs, the front as well as at the back. The international press gave 'Bisquit' a rousing reception and published enthusiastically about it.
The biscuit collection includes nine different plates and five centerpieces. The pieces are white bisque porcelain with reliefs based on allegory with fairy tale and fantasy figures. Both sides of the plates are decorated.
