these are great contemporary stools that are well built and gorgeous , came packed perfect with no damage, keep in mind that your fancy jeans with jewels and buttons on the back pockets will scratch the seat.

This stool will look great in my recently finished basement. Wish it came in a lighter brown.

True that they're heavy, but I think it's a plus. Safe enough to put my granddaughter on, no risk of a small child tipping it over. Love the look, very comfy, just perfect!

The biggest issue was - BE CAREFUL when lifting up as it may/will release the seat off the piston and land on your foot and they are heavy and can easily break a bone ....best to just slide it around but make sure you install felt pads under the base to stop any damage to flooring you may have installed
