Beautiful Shade, Fixture Not So Much

The shade is as beautiful as it appears on the website. However,the unattractive, utilitarian fixture makes it unusable as is. The shade hangs from a plain black cable with white electrician's print on it. In order to use this, you really need to order the $30 stem kit. It would be nice if the description pointed this out. Had I known this, I probably would have purchased a different fixture at this price point, and I am considering returning it.

I love this pendant. Great design/fabric. Looks incredible over my dining table.
