Poul Christiansen Denmark (1947 - )
Poul Christiansen, Architect MAA MDD, born in Copenhagen, Denmark 1947, graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Copenhagen 1973. Freelance designer since 1969,Lamp design for Le Klint A/S from 1969. Employed by Ib and Jørgen Rasmussen 1977-86, architecture and design, design for Kevi and Herman Miller. 1982-87 Furniture design for Sorø Stolefabrik DK, Lübke and Brunner, Germany.
Poul Christiansen set out to make a pendant that anyone could love, could be put in any room, and would be cherished for generations to come.
