Constant color halogen MR16 lamp included (35 or 50 watt bulb)
Monopoint version is supplied with 75 watt mini electronic transformer (neatly fits most electrical boxes)

I used this product as an alternative to a traditional over-the-mirror sconce. Very elegant and attractive look that's functional and practical as well. May wish to mount a bit higher (closer to ceiling) in order to give extendable arm enough "room" to project light above head height.
