Krups 1.69-qt. Electric Tea Kettle

My mom is quite the tea critic, and she loves this kettle I bought her.

love the look. Small and compact. Doesn't take up a lot of space. Unfortunately there is a gradual leak from under the handle just up from the base of the kettle. The handle isn't molded to the body of kettle. There is a seam and the water leaks after boiling so we empty the kettle always after boiling. Water and electrical current (from base of kettle) are not a good combo though. We would like to get another as long as this isn't a common problem.

This is a great product at a reasonable price. The style and color compliment the black/stainless appliances in the kitchen. I discovered this type of tea kettle during my travels abroad. I use it for an occasional cup of tea; hubby uses it to heat water for his Merlita-style coffee brewing. It heats water quicker than stovetop method...and maybe even beats the microwave for the volume of water! I don't know how we survived without one all these years. Save time and energy when needing boiling water - use this appliance. Every household should own one.

Great Pot! Very quick boiling. Great for instant coffee, tea, soups, jello and much more. It is a nice addition to my kitchen. Looks great on the counter. I would highly recommend this product. Thank you, A very satisfied customer
