Pepe Cortes Spain Pepe Cortès, a Spanish-born interior designer, counts among his numerous projects a collaboration with Oscar Tusquets on restaurant furnishings and Javier Mariscal on furniture design. Founder of the Grupo Abierto de Diseno, a multidisciplinary design group, Cortès has also designed retail stores and offices in Spain and abroad.
Designed by Pepe Cortès in 1993, and manufactured to his specifications in Spain by AMAT-3 for Knoll, the Jamaica Barstool is already considered a modern classic. The Jamaica Barstool features a contoured anodized cast aluminum or beech seat that swivels 360, and a chrome plated steel base with plastic glides. The Jamaica aluminum stools on glides are 100% recyclable. The Jamaica Low Barstool is Greenguard certified for being a low-emitting product.

Great Item This is a great item, but I was a little disappointed that there was a fairly noticeable scuff on it. For the money and the lead time, I expected perfection. Oh well, still a nice item |
