The Design

Recognized for forward-thinking, organically inspired products crafted with innovative materials, Ross Lovegrove designed the Sprite Armchair to be stylish and practical, his interpretation of the quintessential armchair. The balance Lovegrove realizes between comfort and style, including his use of exuberant colors and exotic wood veneers, results in a chair of unsurpassed quality. Constructed of a sinuous molded wood shell, which gives the chair its contemporary appearance, Lovegrove has made the Sprite Arm Chair perfect for workplaces, schools, and residences.

• Generous seat and inherent lumbar support provide long lasting comfort
• Able to stack four - six with or without optional seat pad
• Molded plywood shell made of six layers of maple and three layers of adhesive
• Chrome base
• Base is made up of 5/8" tubular steel with mirror chrome finish
• Four rubber bumpers attached to base to assure proper stacking

• Shell Finish:
  • Shell finish available with same front and back finish or in a two-tone combination finish
  • Exotic Alpi veneer finish: Reconstituted veneers made of both plantation poplar and Obece/Ayous, a bland African wood from well-managed sources with a long term forestry management plan; available in Zebra, Macasser Ebony and Black & White Woodgrain
  • Paint finish: Smooth, highly durable paint available in Black, Grey, Lime, Navy, Red and White
  • Note: On chairs painted one color, edge will be painted. For chairs in two-tone combination or with standard veneer options, edges are natural maple. For chairs in exotic Alpi veneer finishes, edges are natural maple.

  • Option of black polyurethane arm pads or veneer arms
  • Black self skinning polyurethane arm pads available on all chairs
  • Veneer arms are available on chairs with a veneer face ONLY
  
  
• Optional Seat Pad:
  • Seat pads are constructed of high-resilient urethane foam
  • Seat pads features black buttons to ensure proper stacking
  • Water based glue used for seat pad application
  • Choose from a variety of select KnollTextiles or high-quality Spinneybeck leathers
