The Design

From the hand-buffed frame to the eighteen Spinneybeck leather panels carefully hand-welted together and hand-tufted with leather and buttons--the Child's Barcelona Stool is a hand-crafted, modern masterpiece. Mies van der Rohe's original 1929 design has managed to stay relevant today, fitting in seamlessly with almost any decor--from casual to formal--the Child's Barcelona Stool is a must-have for your little one. Each stool is a tribute to traditional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. Either on its own, or paired with the Child's Barcelona Chair, this exceptional piece is just what you were looking for.

Upholstered with high quality Spinneybeck cowhide, the Barcelona Lounge Collection was honored with The Museum of Modern Art Award in 1977. Each piece also features the KnollStudio® logo and a stamp of Mies van der Rohe's signature. The entire Barcelona Lounge Collection is GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified®.

White Glove Gold Additional Information:

This item will be delivered by a white glove freight carrier. White glove carriers are different from common carriers in that they provide the customer with many benefits throughout the delivery process. Unlike common carriers, a white glove delivery team consists of at least two people so you will not be burdened with helping the driver carry your order from the back of the truck to your home.

Important note: Once your order arrives in your area, a representative from the white glove carrier will call you to arrange a 4 hour window for delivery. You MUST inspect your package at the time of delivery. If the product has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.

White Glove Freight Service Levels

We offer 2 different levels of service for this item: White Glove Gold and White Glove Platinum. White Glove Gold service is selected as your default shipping method; if you wish to upgrade to White Glove Platinum you may make this selection in your cart during the checkout process. White Glove Gold
Gold service level provides two-man delivery to inside your residence to the room you choose. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights please contact us*. Once the product is in the room you desire, the shipper will unpack the product and provide basic setup that requires no tools (i.e. will set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other). The shipper will also remove and dispose of all packaging.

White Glove Platinum
Platinum service level provides two-man delivery to inside your residence to the room you choose.
