Not strictly for children Katherine from FL– Verified Buyer I bought this for myself because it was cute, the right size, and a very good price. It wasn't until I'd already received it that I saw that it's designed to hold up to 80 lbs. Oops! Well, I'm that plus a half, and it holds me fine. I'm not jumping on it or anything (the result of my being an adult who owns it), but it works just fine for me to be able to stand on to reach higher things in my room. It's well made and definitely looks like it could cost more than what I paid for it. So I recommend it for kids, of course, and to any small to medium sized ladies, I'd say don't be afraid to use it yourselves either. |

She has her wipes and crayons (gotta have crayons!) in the storage portion. It's lightweight enough to move from room to room but sturdy enough for the 3yo and 8yo to stand on. |

Good, needs a few improvements Elizabeth from United States– Verified Buyer I bought this stool for my 2 year old, and I like that it has two steps, storage space, and handles. The cons are that it lacks rubberized grips on the feet to prevent skidding on tile and when my son opens the storage lid, he likes to climb into the storage area and the bottom panel of the compartment is just made of flimsy pressboard. I just wish the bottom panel was as sturdy as the rest of the stool! |

We did have to buy rubber grips for the bottom. The smooth wood slipped all over our rug and laminate and tile floors. But it was a cheap and easy fix. |

I bought my two year old son the vanilla one and he loves the storage compartment however, he tries to stand inside the storage compartment and it is not strong enough to hold him. It would be nice if that piece was made of wood as well. |
