I live in a loft and had beautiful French designed table /chairs in a transitional style. I always felt it was too heavy for the open concept look. My sister from London was visiting and mentioned these chairs, her husband is a decorator in London working for my brother so any advise was well respected. Wow is all I can say about my choice. I kept the mahogany table with the aluminum swoop under design and two head of table chairs for larger people, my husband is 6'7". I bought 4 Louis Ghost chairs that are so striking and fit perfectly. I did have to raise the table with the levelers though so the arms wouldn't hit the apron of the table. Thanks and if you buy you will not be disappointed.
