Lisa Albin United States Lisa Albin has worked in architecture, interiors and set design in New York since 1992, with projects ranging from private residences to feature film production design. Albin received her B.F.A. and B.Arch. from The Rhode Island School of Design and has taught at Parsons School of Design and guest-lectured at Columbia University, School of Visual Arts and The Cooper-Hewitt Museum's after-school program. Inspired by her first daughter and after a seminar at the Haystack Mt. School of Crafts in Maine, Albin launched Iglooplay in 2005.
Research shows that kids fidget in stationary chairs and dull desks, so Iglooplay designed the Mod Rocker and Topper to keep children mellow and focused. With a relaxing, low-to-the-ground design and personalized space, the Mod Desk Set invites your child to play, read, or draw in a space-saving, youthful space of their own. Grouped together, this chair and desk play on material variation; solid and open, sculptural and straight, movement and calm, blending function and form for a bold design statement.| Item: | Dimensions: | Weight: |
