Hillsdale Salem 31" Backless Swivel Bar Stool

I am a heafty woman and these are wonderful! Nice and sturdy and comfy round seat! Definitely worth the money you van't go wrong with these stools.

Contrary to other reviews I have seen, I think seniors and some women may have a difficult time assembling these stools; an electric screwdriver would be a plus. It took me 2 hours to put three of them together...without an electric screwdriver. Once assembled, the product is pretty much as advertised although the vinyl on the seat is a bit thin, and the legs are metal painted to look like wood.

Pretty easy to put to gether. Very nice looking and sturdy. Would have liked to have a choice of seat color.

Just received 4 of these stools for my new kitchen island, and they're of EXCEPTIONAL quality. I'm especially pleased at the solid construction; these babies will take on tall or "plus sized" people easily and comfortably. They also blend beautifully with my dark cabinets, chrome fixtures, and appliances. Worth every penny!

I too thought the legs were wood but they are metal painted to look like wood. They are very wide. Cushion is 16 1/2 inches wide. Make sure you want that size. Although sold as being 31 inches high, mine are only 29 3/4 high to top of cushion. The swivel is a little tight but I imagine they will loosen up with time. Comfortable, sturdy and of good quality

I purchased three of these stools to match our contempory kitchen that has stainless steel appliances and chrome kitchen cabinet pulls. The stools were very easy to assemble. I thought the legs were supposed to be made of wood, but they are metal that "look" like wood. They are level and sturdy. The seat swivels easily. [...] the price was right too!
