Hillsdale Salem 26" Backless Swivel Counter Stool

Bought three of these 26 inch stools for kitchen island. Required assembly, which seemed to go well. Appeared sturdy and were very comfortable. About a year after we started using them (16 months after purchase), a leg on one stool came loose and the thread was gone. Contacted manufacturer and stools are warranted for one year. Unable to use so we will replace all three stools with another brand.

This counter stool is nice quality and sturdy, but the photo of the 26" stool must be the same as the 30" stool, because the proportions of height to width are different. Imagine 4" off the bottom of the leg for the correct proportion of the 26" stool.

Looks great and easy to assemble.

Love the detailing in these stools! They look better than I thought from looking at the picture. The seat is comfortable and cushioned. I really like the swivel as well. Assembly was very simple.

The stools are very comfortable with a wide seat. Assembly was a bit of a task, but using a drop of oil for leg insertion did the trick. Love the look at our new granite island. My only complaint is the plastic nubs that are against the floor do ding up a vinyl tile; use floor protectors.

moderately easy to set up - assembly style. Very handsome stools. I'm very happy with my purchase. With two teenage boys we needed something that was going to hold up and I think they will. My only complaint is that they are not as slender and streamlined as they appear on the on line picture. They are larger, more stocky than tall and streamlined . Having said that, I still love them and LOVE the swivel, smooth!

This is a great style, and is sturdy and heavy weight. Not easy to assemble. Took quite a while to assemble four stools, but love finished product.

I was very pleased with the quality, appearance and functionality of this counter height stool.

These stools are beautiful and functional at a ridiculously low price for what they are. Overall first time experience with this company superb...excellent communication on backordered items and well-packaged quick receipt. Lovely.
