People at their best live unframed, going beyond expectations to surprise and delight us. When you settle into the frameless back of a SAYL chair, you experience unprecedented freedom of movement and beautiful support - with an extremely small environmental impact. Inspired by the principles of suspension bridges, the frameless back of the SAYL work chair encourages a full range of movement while the suspension back material keeps you cool.

  • Frameless 3D Intelligent Suspension back that allows freedom of movement
  • Upholstered seat with foam padding and passive Posturefit back support
  • Synchronous tilt provides continuous balance and lets the body recline naturally
  • 5-Star base with choice of carpet or hard floor casters
  • Chair is tested and warranted for use by persons 350 pounds and under
  • Arms can be removed in the field with no tools required
  • A support system that molds directly to your body
  • Inspired by Golden Gate - The suspension material is stretched from the Y-Tower frame just as cables are stretched from the towers of a suspension bridge
  • Varying Tension: greater in transition areas, from the thoracic to the lumbar areas and between the lumbar area and sacrum
  • ''Hinge points'' allow areas to flex and support the healthy, forward rotation of the pelvis while simultaneously giving less tension to other parts of the back to allow full range seated movement.
  • Back suspension made of Eco-Dematerialised materials and is 93% recyclable
  • Contains no PVC
  • Comprised of 10% recycled materials
  • Cradle to Cradle and GREENGUARD certified

Questions & Answers

Still have questions about this product? We're here to help

“Hello, what are the cleaning instructions for this chair?” asked by Calvin

"Hello Calvin, for normal cleaning, wash with a soft cloth soaked in mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive kitchen cleaners. For ink stains apply isopropyl alcohol to a clean, damp absorbent cloth. Start at the outside of the ink stain and work towards the center. Apply pressure but do not rub too vigorously. It is important as the cloth becomes stained, use a clean section of the dampened cloth or the stain will spread. Apply isopropyl alcohol to the cloth as needed. If ink stain persists, use acetone in place of procedure above. This procedure is not intended for normal cleaning." Erica from Wayfair

“Hi, what is the weight capacity of this chair?” asked by Cindy

"Hi Cindy, the weight capacity of this chair is 350 pounds." Levi from Wayfair

Sayl chair review

 from Yucaipa, CA– Verified Buyer

This chair is amazingly comfortable and has a sleek modern look. It is a great mid-size, not to big not too small. Office chairs are usually ugly and dated but not this one.

Not crazy about this chair

 from Oakton, VA– Verified Buyer

I was very excited to get this chair, but I almost sent it back. The back is shorter than it appears and it is not easy to get it comfortable. There was an "option" for the chair that I did not see which is some kind of back adjustment. I would recommend getting that because I feel like the chair is tilting straight up and down. The arms of the chair are a hard molded material that is not uncomfortable. There are many other chairs out there that work better and cost less.

Very comfortable chair

from Forest Hills, NY– Verified Buyer

The chair is is well-made, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. It was easy to assemble, piece of cake! I bought this chair because of its modern design and the reputation of Herman Miller. In addition, it is made mostly of recyclable materials! The SAYL chair has met our expectations. I would recommend it to everyone who needs reliable ergonomic desk or computer chair.

Beautiful Ergnomic

from El Segundo, CA– Verified Buyer

Gorgeous addition to my home office- definitely adds a level of sophistication without being too-corporate looking. I got the greengreen combo and really stands out.

Over Priced

from NC– Verified Buyer– Top 1000 Reviewer

This chair is made of hard plastic except for the seat. It looks as shown but for the price I would have expected something of higher quality. The back support is good and the chair feels comfortable but I don't think it's worth the price. Doubt it will last 10 years as the warranty states.
