Wow. Look no further, this is it!
jBoy from New York City, NY
Wow.That's really the only word I can use to describe this chair. It's everything and MORE that I could have wanted in this chair. While I was researching different chairs and looking around for one to buy, I stumbled upon this chair and I'm so glad I did.You can adjust every, I mean EVERY, aspect of the chair. It's an amazing chair. It's expensive, so if you can afford it, GO FOR IT. It's worth EVERY PENNY you pay for it.Don't skimp out on a chair, especially if you sit in it as much as I do -- 7-10 hours a day.[...]
BEST CHAIR YOU COULD BUY!

YES, THE PRICE IS STEEP, BUT THIS IS HONESTLY THE LAST OFFICE CHAIR YOU WILL EVER BUY. IT IS BUILT AWESOME, COMES IN GREAT COLORS, HAS A ZILLION OPTIONS TO PICK AND CHOOSE FROM, AND YOU COULD PROBABLY SLEEP IN IT. THAT IS HOW COMFORTABLE IT IS.
Trouble installing seat back
chadrey from Lincoln, NE
The notes say it has "minimal installation requirements" which I would agree with, as it only takes 2 bolts.
Mirra Loaed Chair

Wow, what a chair. Sitting at desk for 10 hours a day requires a chair with good support, comfort, and durability. This is the chair.

Not as comfortable as I had hoped. But it looks great and we had excellent customer service from Wayfair when we realized we ordered the wrong base.
Love the Loaded Mirra!
textmonkey from Waukesha County, WI
I love this chair. The options for adjustments are perfect, and this is the only chair I've tried (and I've tried many) that lowers far enough down that my feet are flat on the floor. The armrest adjustments help with avoiding soreness in my wrists from all the typing I do. Adjustable lumbar support feels heavenly on my back. I've never spent this kind of money on an office chair, but needed it to help with back problems and repetitive stress issues in arms. Totally worth the cost.
Got vertebrae problems?
Dana Christensen from Woodland, CA– Verified Buyer
I have collapsing neck vertebrae and sitting in this chair makes the pain go away... love it! Setup was straight forward and the minor adjustments over the ensuing week were easy and put the chair in MY control, not what some manufacturer thought would be the "optimum" position. Has allowed me to sit at my computers for hours at a time.

So comfortable I forget I'm working. I'd recommend this chair to anyone who asks what office chair I'd recommend.

This chair is truly unique and a favorite by those that know what the benefits amount to. After extended periods of activity at a desk, this minimizes the amount of disruption and wear/tear on the back. Worth the money.
About the Designer
Composed of five designers--Claudia Plikat, Burkhard Schmitz, Nicolai Neubert, Carola Zwick, and Roland Zwick--Studio 7.5 has been involved for over 10 years in the design and development of products that improve the way people work. They consider themselves "the grandchildren of the Eameses" and, like those pioneering designers, they are experts at observing how workers interact with their environments and finding ways to make that interaction more natural. Sharing a genuine passion for seating, they know seating as a science and work to bring it to another level. Rather than relying on any individual in the firm, Studio 7.5 works as a team, without titles or hierarchy. The Mirra chair is a product of their collective imagination, talent, and persistence--along with a willingness to break the mold in order to create a chair that sets a new standard for comfort, fit, balanced ride, and visual refinement in its price range. Studio 7.5 envisioned a chair that reacts to what people do. Part of the concept was to make the chair like a second skin, like a shadow of the sitter. From this concept, Mirra"s passive adjustability was born. From the TriFlex™ back to the AireWeave™ seat suspension to the Harmonic™ tilt, Mirra does just what Studio 7.5 worked to achieve: Just sit on it, and it fits. There are only a few adjustment controls, and they are designed to be very intuitive. Mirra features common materials applied in original ways--such as the electrometric seat suspension and moulded polymer back that are used instead of foam and fabric. The relationship between materials and technology was optimized to achieve maximum performance with minimal materials. User testing, benchmarking, focus groups, tilt performance studies, and other methods were used to ensure the chair meets customer needs and provides advanced ergonomic performance. For example, research over the years has shown that the biggest concern users have is back support. In fact, back issues account for the second highest number of work illnesses. The designers took this to heart and focused on the back as an area of differentiation. Herman Miller and Studio 7.5 also used results from the Civilian American and European Surface Anthropometry Resource (CAESAR) study, which surveyed body measurements of people aged 18-65, using the latest 3-D technology. Data from the study--the first full-body, 3-D surface anthropometry survey of the U.S. and Europe--helped ensure the chair fits people from the 5th percentile woman to the 95th percentile man.
