After quickly gaining local notoriety for his contemporary, unfussy approach to furniture, David and his partners launched Gus* in 2001, taking his designs to a North American market and earning the "Best New Collection" distinction at the 2001 International Gift Fair in Manhattan. Collecting accolades ever since, David continues to serve as partner and Lead Designer at Gus*Featuring oversized solid wood legs and a smooth oak top, the Chunk Dining Bench is elegant in its simplicity. Gus Modern Chunk Wood Kitchen Bench

Not surprisingly, this bench is pretty hard. I may consider some kind of cushion later for it. And the corners are very sharp. But overall it looks nice with the table. And I love that I can save space and push them under.
A well-designed, solid product

Had this bench for a week and is generally satisfied with the quality and ease of assembly (easier than [...]furnitures). Only gripe is that the color is darker than what's shown in the advertisement photos. The wood grains are more pronounced than what's shown as well. But it still looks pretty good.
