About the Designer
David PodsiadloDavid Podsiadlo

David studied Industrial Design before contributing to a number of architectural and interior design firms in Toronto. In 1999 he co-founded Stylegarage in the city's West Queen West neighborhood, which served as a retail outlet for his furniture designs, emphasizing raw materials, clean lines, and basic forms. After quickly gaining local notoriety for his contemporary, unfussy approach to furniture, David and his partners launched Gus* in 2001, taking his designs to a North American market and earning the "Best New Collection" distinction at the 2001 International Gift Fair in Manhattan. Collecting accolades ever since, David continues to serve as partner and Lead Designer at Gus*

A bit pricey, but worth it!

The coffee table is perfect for our small living room. We love it, especially on game night! The walnut color was a bit lighter than we expected from the online pictures. We do now have a small scratch, which happened easily. It doesn't seem to be due to the quality of the veneer. It's sturdy and stylish.

Beautiful Coffee Tables

The wood grain is absolutely gorgeous. The color was slightly darker than it appeared on the Web site but not significantly so.
