George Kovacs Cylindrical Counter Weight Chandelier in Brushed Nickel
Stunning but small
Julie from Kansas City– Verified Buyer
We put this in our main dinning area over a fairly large table. The individual lights are much smaller than we had anticipated. This is good and bad. We didn't want to detract from the view out the sliding doors behind where the light is hung but on the other hand since it is fairly small it gets over looked pretty easily.

This is the perfect light fixture for my dining room. It's the first thing you see when you walk in so I wanted it to be subtle and not block the view.

I've had this in my rustic/contemporary home for 5 years, my husband installed it with no problems, just a little extra time on getting it level. We've not had any problems with it; are still on the original bulbs. We love the George Kovacs line, it's an excellent value.
We love it!

This is a very elegant piece. On the down side, it took the electrician 2 hours to install it. It did seem very complicated. And it is quite difficult to make the horizontal bars parallel. Relies on getting the 2 vertical wires exactly the same length, and this caused the electrician some delays. Even now, I think it is not 100%. But we love it anyway, because it still looks great.
they dont work!

We bought this light about 4 years ago and have had to replace the transformer twice and now most of the lights dont work. Every time you turn it on...about half dont work. We have to jiggle it and some will come on and some will not. Its become a big joke in the family and we are now about ready to replace it.

We had the same problem as another reviewer - in went kaput after less than a year. I absoutely loved it until then. This one was a replacement for an orginal order which was not working when it arrived.... should have taken that to be a sign.

transformer failed after only 4 months

I have the light over the island in my kitchen, and in this respect it works flawlessly. Setting it up didn't take too long, but the instructions did not match reality when it came to resizing the length of the wires, so I had to come up with a creative solution, but in the end it all works great!
Handsome Light, Difficult to Adjust
JB from Boston MA– Verified Buyer
The light is beautiful, but the height adjustments at set-up on the actual piece differ from what is shown in the instructions. Getting the light set at the right height took two experienced electricians more than an hour and some improvised wire-cutting. It appears a cheaper plastic piece was used in place of the metal plug that would have made the height adjustment work as intended.
