Galtech 11' Classic Teak Market Umbrella
Don from Elsberry, MO– Verified Buyer
Generally satisfied with the Umbrella Base. Do not believe the finish will hold up, appears to be spray painted and not baked on. There are a couple of spots that show rust. I also think the bolts used to hold the umbrella in place could be a bit heavier., but the base itself is plenty heavy to keep the umbrella from being tossed around.

This beautiful and heavy bass was exactly what I needed due to the design of my patio table. Being offered two different heights of connecter tubes was the most important factor in my purchase; however, the added beauty and quality of the base and the great price made it an all-round winner, enabling me to avoid spending hundreds of dollars more for what I required.
umbrella and stand

I am very pleased with the items that I bought from you. The service was great and I would definitely buy from you again. I was a little nervous about the stand as it weighs 75 lbs. but the cost of shipping and all was very reasonable. I am already looking to make another purchase.

I could have gotten the lighter weight stand for our 9 umbrella but am glad I opted for this one.
nice and heavy

this is really a heavy base. it's highly recommended to keep a huge umbrella in place. it's pricey though but if you're looking for a heavy, beautiful, and not bulky umbrella base, this is the one for you.
Looks a lot nicer than the picture!

I really like this umbrella base & have gotten a lot of compliments on it! The only con is the pipe the umbrella goes in is too short for my 11 foot umbrella. I use it for a smaller umbrella.
so far so good!

Nice umbrella. Have had it up for a month so far and mechanism seems solid. All the cords are on the inside which makes for a nice clean look. No complaints so far.

This base is very pretty and it's very sturdy. It has great detail and I don't have to worry about my umbrella falling over.
It will keep your umbrella in its place

I bought this to hold down a free standing 7' market umbrella. Nothing else we tried worked because of the occasional storms we get in North Texas. Well so far it has stood up to everything that mother natures has thrown at it. I have even forgotten to close the umbrella on a couple really windy days, but it held fast. The only modification I did was to drill a hole through this and the umbrella post and inserted a bold. This keeps the umbrella from turning in the base and makes it impossible for the wind to pull it out. This stand came with everything you would need for different size posts. It also comes with a low profile base attachment for using under things like a table.[...]It was expensive, but it is also the last one I will ever need.
Great umbrella base

The price was great. It holds the umbrella on our patio straight and stable. It's also attractive.
