Frieling Flow Carafe with Coaster

Ideal for use in corporate office and conference room settings. The base keeps the cold water condensation off the table and surrounding areas.

I really love the concept of this carafe, and it is excellent for parties. While I do really like it and I receive a lot of compliments and inquiries on it, my only gripe is that the glass is very thin (feels more like plastic). I just feel like I have to be extremely careful while cleaning it so as not to break it. That aside, it really is a great carafe.

Both the carafe and the removable pour spout have very sharp, unpolished edges. The idea of having a removable piece that you can put into the freezer is a great one, but so far, this carafe has made everyone in my household nervous. In addition, the stainless steel on the base is covering a relatively flimsy piece of plastic that doesn't look like it is meant for regular use.

I gave the carafe as a gift to my friend who lives in a very warm climate. She loves the carafe and how the coaster keeps the contents chilled. I love the Frieling brand. I may have to get one of these for myself.
