About the Manufacturer
iLight/i is a direct many-layered language. strongFoscarini/strong interprets the forms and functions of ilight/i in various ways, without ever losing sight of its most important purpose - ilighting /i up the rooms of your life. The strongFoscarini lighting/strong collection brings together objects that express strong ideas with a special character of their own. Ideas are transformed into a tangible reality thanks to the contribution of leading personalities from the world of design. strongFoscarini/strong lights up their creativity and guides their proposals.pThe strongFoscarini/strong keynote is research, into forms and materials, as well as ideas. Established in 1981 in Venice, strongFoscarini/strong started out by exploring the opportunities offered by emMurano glass/em. The management assures brand identity and coherence by careful conservation of its emMurano/em heritage, whilst being ever ready to consider new objectives and to exercise its rare capacity for talent scouting. pThe company works with both established designers who've created new trends and with younger, emerging exponents of alternative styles and approaches. This makes for a highly original catalogue and one of the most varied in the sector. Over the years, the range of materials used has expanded to include satin-finished glass, polyethylene, wood and aluminium, as well as patented materials such as an exclusive textured glass-tissue and carbone fibre composite.
