Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, architects and designers, founded Palomba Serafini Associati in 1994. The studio deals primarily with architecture, industrial design, exhibit design, graphic design, communications and marketing consulting. They develop art direction and design management projects for several companies. Palomba Serafini Associati headquarters is based in Milano.

The Birdie project has expanded and become a complete family of products. The natural evolution of the initial concept, which was successfully introduced in the table and reading versions, Birdie is now available in the ceiling version.
