Firmness can be adjusted by removing pellets for a softer feel. Filling is contained in a zippered pouch to remove or add back stuffing as you like. Larger dogs may require decreasing stuffing, depending on their needs.

HORRIBLE BED - Ripped in 3 Months!
Product Review
I bought this "doggie lounge" for my Yellow Lab in October (RED and Large). I saw it in some boutique pet stores near my home and thought the idea looked great (easily cleaned, bright colors, neat looking) well boy was I wrong. The bed is either way to hard for the dog (when it is pretty well stuffed) or it is way to soft (when it is under stuffed). When the bed does not have enough filling inside it sinks in weird places and undoubtedly one side sits lower than the other making it extremely hard for dogs to get up and off of it. When the bed is to full it's like a BRICK and I would not even want to lay on it. The bed is easily wiped cleaned (not washed - washing did not clean it well) because of the material, but if your dog likes something soft to lie down on then this is not a good choice. The material is slick and not very soft for their bodies. To add insult to injury on this bed we have had the bed for 3 months and our dog's nails have ripped a small hole in the bed. Three months and this bed already has a hole! I buy beds for $30 from [...] that I have for years before I toss them for a new one, and not once have those ever gotten a rip from my dog's nails. This bed costs $130-$150 and it gets a hole in three months! To make matters worse when I contacted FATBOY they said that they don't see any signs of manufacture defect so they can offer me a replacement cover for $60 bucks. NO THANKS! Spend more money on this horrible bed, no chance! Stick to the CHEAP beds at [...] they hold up much better then these, they might not look as nice but let's face it for the quality they are leaps and bounds above FATBOY.
Bottom Line: No, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.
great looking but not so comfy
Product Review
Bought this to have an attractive dog bed for our living room. It looks good, but it was too firm and full, so we had to take several plasitc bags of beans out before our dog would use it. It is also bigger than necessary. I wish this bed was offered in a medium size.
Bottom Line: No, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.
This product sucks!
Product Review
The dogs would not even go near this bed. It was way too full and they could not even stay on it comfortably. They ended up chewing one of them up and now there are about 1 million beans all over my porch. I was very dissappointed in this dog bed and would not recommend it to anyone else.
Bottom Line: No, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.
A Bunch of Hype
Product Review
When I bought this item, I made my decision to purchase it based on other reviews and the fact that it was more expnsive made me think it was of better quality. I couldn't have been more wrong. My dogs wont even lay on it! They hate it! What a huge waste of money. The bed is extremely stiff and I could have just purhcased a [$] bean bag instead, because that's really all it is, a [$] bean bag.
Service Review
When I recieved it in the mail, there wasn't even a receipt with it or return shipping options/instructions.
Bottom Line: No, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.
