About the Manufacturer
ErgoErgo Inc. is a new company dedicated to producing products designed for wellness and dedicated to healthy sitting.
The story of ErgoErgo began when Alan Heller, who at Heller Inc. has produced furniture with some of the world’s leading architects and designers, saw his wife sitting on an exercise ball to find relief from backache. He knew there had to be a better way.
About 85% of all adults experience backache, often chronic, because the activity we engage in most of time -- sitting -- is done wrong. Most chairs lock the body into a static position. But dynamic, active sitting strengthens the core, aligns the spine in the right way, and improves the circulation. And by sending more oxygen to the brain, it even makes for better concentration.
For a year, Alan Heller experimented with various designs to allow the body to make constant small movements on a flexible but stable base. He came up with an accordian-pleated technopolymer stool, which was awarded a US utility patent for its unique functionality. And thus ErgoErgo was born.
Along with the adult-size ergoErgo, a larger ErgoErgo and a KidsErgo are being produced. ErgoErgo is for work, play, and fitness. For every body, young and old. It's ergonomic, ergo it's for you. It's ErgoErgo.
