Droog is an innovative enterprise based in Amsterdam. Founded in 1993 by Gijs Bakker and Renny Ramakers as a statement on design, common themes have consistently run through their projects: creating innovative concepts that change perspective and connecting the product to the individual. Their products generate experience, interaction and participation; they solve problems and challenge conventional assumptions. Above all, they are meant to be cherished and not discarded without thought.

Droog collaborates with a wide variety of designers, partners, clients, manufacturers and projects. Cutting edge designers from all over the world experiment with new concepts, new materials and new techniques but also with age-old craft methods. Prolific designers such as Marcel Wanders, Tejo Remy, Jurgen Bey and others have collaborated with Droog.
