Ron Gilad Israel (1972 - )He was born in 1972 in Tel-Aviv and now lives and works in New York. The hybrid objects by Ron Gilad combine a practical genius with an aesthetic game, on the clearly shaped and delightful borderline between abstract and functional. Gilad likes philosophising about objects of common use which surround our life. His work ranges from unique pieces to limited editions and series production, has no 'expiry date' and can be found both in public and private collections all over the world. Gilad asks endless questions in a three-dimensional format and manufactures answers which create a field of fertile doubt.
After observing and subtracting main characteristics of ex lovers, the designer abstracted these qualities and formed them into a series of table lamps. This series of lamps serves as the designer's private 3D black book. Features black lamp base and black or white shade.| Item: | Dimensions: | Weight: |
