Delonghi Cafe Nero Combination Espresso Machine

I'm happy with the quality of this espresso machine overall. No surprises or anything I didn't like, it was what I was expecting.

This was exactly what I was looking for! Works great and my fiancà loves it...was a Christmas present for him!

this unit is very well built and works very well for both coffee and especially espresso. we love it. it gives me the espresso and coffee machine for about the price of one machine.

Great value. makes a perfect cup of coffee. making espresso couldn't get any easier. but with Nero, you can do it all for less than 1 third the cost.This combo unit is the ticket.

I have had my machine for less than a month and already the espresso maker is having problems. The unit does not stay at the required heat and turns off mid cycle resulting in off temperature espresso. I had read about some quality issues with this unit but took my chances. I am now going to make arrangements to return it and by a competitors product

While we wstill lived in Europe we used to own one of these, it gave 5 years flawless performance and was passed on to a younger sister-in-law and is still going without a glitch. I do not know if this one will be as reliable, but after a few weeks of heavy usage, no problem. The product it delivers is just as good as our old one! -Espresso - our reason #1 for buying this machine. Just try it! Nowhere in north America can you buy a cup with crema this thick and delicious. -Capuccino - a bit so-so, you get a lot of foam but not very thick, or may be it's just my technique. -Filter coffee - very good, the 1-5 cups option and the timer are great features. -Hot water - here's a tip, do not use the espresso boiler for hot water (can still get a coffee aroma), do like many baristas - use the (clean) steam nozzle to heat your water super-quick, as you would with milk. Works like a wonder. DO give the machine a good "fuel" - buy a real espresso blend or ask for an espresso roast and a suitable grind too, to get the best results.
