Cottage Daybeds are similar to
traditional but more reminiscent
of country living. Generally in
medium wood/ivory colors with
spindles or hand painted
details.
Mission/Shaker Daybeds feature lots of vertical slats and simple horizontal or vertical lines.
Modern/Contemporary daybeds have clean, straight lines and feature angular/simple designs.
Rustic Lodge Daybeds have a natural look that resembles log construction. They would typically be found in a lodge, ski resort, or log cabin setting.
Traditional Daybeds tend to have ornate detailing like curled metal, ornate handles, marble tops, etc.
Transitional Daybeds are simpler than traditional, but not 100% modern. They feature soft but clean lines, lack heavy carvings and ornamentation like the traditional style.
Tropical Daybeds are influenced by styles from overseas. Trpical Daybeds of no particular design, elements include: rattan, seagrass, any woven furniture (excluding wicker), any furniture adorned with palm trees, seashells.
