Does not Work correctly Does not work right. Does not make strong or any other difference. Clogs up and doe not grind the right amount of beans at a time. It is very upsetting since I liked it so much for its looks and new design. I have always owned the older models that grind and brew but can be took out and cleaned after each days coffee. This one just does not have that option but coffee seems to brew up so light like water. Read some reviews that had same problems. Too bad because it does look good but what good is that if it will not make a good and set cup of coffee? I need to return for refund . It will not work right. |

Excellent coffee maker This coffee maker is great. Having the coffee grinder within the coffee maker makes it fast, and easy to grind our beans. As a result the coffee is stronger, and tastier. Despite the many comments we have read about how hard and time consuming the cleaning of this machine is, we did not find it to be the case at all, on the contrary. The only negative thing is that the grinder is awfully loud. Souds like a jet plane. Overall we are very satisfied with this coffee maker and would recommend it. |

We Don't Use The Grinder Function We have had this machine for a few years now and no longer use the grinder function. It is not easy to clean, clogs with coffee oils and required far too much daily maintenance for our liking. We continue to use the coffee brewer, but must admit that when the machine dies, we will purchase the regular Cuisinart brewer without the grinder (we used to have one of those and loved it) and use a separate grinder for our beans like we do now. The added cost for the built-in grinder is just not worth the money and usage hassle. |

Don't buy it!! I received this as a gift from my brother for Christmas a couple of years ago. It worked fine for about a month. Then the grinder stopped working. I went through 4 of these in one year. I had to keep sending them back because the grinder would jam. I got no satisfaction from Cuisinart, and gave up in disgust. |

Love it Add another Grind and Brew model for awhile until the heating element rusted through. Got this as a replacement and love it. Grinds quietly, the bean storage is nice, makes good coffee, and has a ton of settings. |

Great FreshTasting Coffee I use this machine to make my coffee every morning. You simply add the right amount of water, set the number of cups you want made and press start. The final product is a great tasting cup of coffee that is as fresh as it gets. I clean the pot, filter and grinder area after every use. It doesn't take long, but it's tough to do if you're in a hurry. Everyday is probably overkill on the cleaning, but you certainly should be cleaning that grinder area often. If you aren't willing to put in a bit of time on a frequent basis to maintain this machine, it probably isn't for you. This machine is for those that really want a fresh cup of coffee that rivals popular coffee stores. This machine is not for those who don't care too much about how their coffee tastes and don't want to spend any time maintaining their machines. If you're looking for a simpler solution, I would recommend a non-grinding unit (like the Cuisinart Brew Central machines) and buying pre-ground coffee or a separate grinding unit. As a side note, the machine is fairly tall. This is something to keep in mind before buying. It may not fit under all cabinets. |

I LOVE THIS COFFEE MAKER This is the same quality of coffee that I got from the coffee shop that charged >$2.00 per cup. I can honestly say that I love this coffee maker; I am a coffee snob and I feel the only comparable machine is at starbucks! Even less than gormet whole beans turn out awsome coffee it simply doesnt get any fresher. I also like that you can make a truly strong cup of coffee. |

Love It I love this coffeemaker! The coffee it produces tastes great. Very rich, robust flavor -- I actually prefer the coffee I brew at home over getting it out. I had the old Grind & Brew and it was time consuming to clean all the parts. This one is easier to clean, takes up less counter space and the stainless steel is much more stylish. I'm not sure yet how durable this machine is since I've only had it a couple of months. I do like having all the controls placed in front and higher up on the machine. Makes use easier. It would be nice if it measured the amount of water as well as the beans to make a pot. Right now you can store a 1/2 lb of beans and it'll grind the correct amount for however many cups you want but it doesn't do the same for the water. But that's a small issue. The grinder is quiet as grinders go which is a plus, particularly early in the morning. I have noticed that it uses more beans to make the same amount of coffee than my previous coffeemaker and that the brewing takes a bit longer (another 4 minutes or so longer than my old one). But having said all that, I still love my new coffeemaker and what comes out is well worth the few minor quirks. |
