Holds up to heavy wind What I like about the base is we had some heavy duty winds here and the base stayed still. I also like the color of navy blue that is great and matches everything we have. |

Base This umbrella base is working out wonderfully. The size and the qaulity are both exactly what I was expecting it would be! |

California Umbrella rree standing umbrella base In the picture, the base looks painted. The base I received is coated with a textured plastic-like material that is applied over the base. The problem is that the coating does not cover the entire base, particularly on the bottom edge that touches the ground. Itt has already started to show rust. It's cheap and you get what you pay for. |

Umbrella Stand Great for free standing patio umbrellas and 9' or larger umbrellas. It came with two screw in pole holders for under table or free standing. |

California Umbrella Free Standing Umbrella Base Had numerous problems with previous umbrella stands not holding our pool umbrellas in place during windy days. Bought two of these and thought we'd try them since they are much heavier and built much better. They have proven to be excellent, especially during our Southern "pop-up" thunder and lightning storms!! Would highly recommend them to all!! |

The best choice A heavy cast iron base. Umbrella cannot be blown over the by the wind and it was tested yesterday on a very windy day. It looks like quality and the price was very reasonable. |

Concrete longevity I'm not sure how long the concrete base will last after it gets wet, drys, and wet over and over. Hopefully, it will not break apart and become inoperable. If the pole housing that screws into the base becomes loose, it will be become useless. I suspect that I should have gone bronze. Time will tell on this issue. |

HEAVY stand! This thing is solid! Definitely will firmly hold your umbrella ... Even if you prefer free-standing instead of putting it through a table. |
