The French press coffee system is what Bodum is most known for. We've produced millions of presses; we've added more designs, more sizes, more features like double wall glass and a lid that closes completely between pours. As far as we were concerned, we knew everything there was to know about the French press. So imagine our surprise when a customer tells us they've discovered the best way to make ice coffee with a French press. We've tried it their way and we have to agree - it's fabulous. And simple - which fits our philosophy perfectly. So here's how it goes: First you put the ground coffee in the jug as usual. Then you add cold water and put the jug in the fridge overnight. In the morning you press down the plunger - et voilą - you have the most smooth tasting ice coffee you can imagine. Enjoy it black or with milk and let yourself be surprised. The Bean comes with two lids: one for the fridge overnight, and one with a plunger to press down the coffee grounds in the morning.

Great Product

I love iced coffee in the summer and wanted an easy way to make it. I was a little skeptical when I ordered this coffee press. I have brewed hot coffee in a press before but never iced. This coffee press did not disappoint. I followed the directions and let the coffee set over night in the refrigerator, it was delicious the next morning. The coffee tasted no different then the iced coffee that I brew in my Bunn. The quality of the Bodum is very good. It's easy to clean and looks nice on top of the counter.

I love this press so much I ended up buying another one so I am never without tea or coffee...fits in frig well, looks great on counter and stores nicely in my small cabinets when not in use. The best part is that my iced coffees rival the $4 ones I used to buy daily.

Best of both worlds

I love coffee, but hate the belly ache it usually caused me. No longer an issue with smooth cups of joe from this. Have only used it as cold brew so far, but also love that you have the best of both worlds with ability to use it hot too.
