Looks great....not so comfortable The sofa looks great and is perfect in my office. For those who like soft beds however, this is not the sofa sleeper for them. Very firm and a distinct hard area down the center. The fabric has not worn so well, as the sofa really hasn't had much use and it looks older than it should. |

Be aware of delivery requirements This couch looks great. It is very firm, but that's not a problem for me. One thing to be aware of, unless you have 2 very strong people available to receive it, you'll want to pay extra to have it delivered INTO your home. We did not, and it was a major struggle to get it inside. It comes in a huge cardboard box metal banded to a massive wood pallet. The truck driver literally pushed it off the truck into our arms. I knew we weren't getting the white glove delivery service, but I was shocked at the lack of help he provided. So the delivery was a nightmare, but the couch itself is perfect. |

Terrible Fabric/Great Design Dang. I really wanted to love this couch. The look and feel are great. It's definitively on the firm side but comfortable nonetheless. The main problem I have is with the fabric. This couch has been used only moderately and has already developed scuffs and staining in several areas. It's not like anything was spilled on the couch. It just naturally seems prone to show wear. An unfortunate problem with an otherwise nice couch. |

Clean lines but very firm This is a really nice sofa...very well made, clean lines and high quality fabric. However, it is very firm!! For guests who are not used to sleeping on a firm bed, it could be tough to get used to. But if you dont want them to stay too long, thats not a bad thing! |

Smart Looking Sofa I have a 1 bedroom in Manhattan and bought this as the primary sofa in my den. I love the look of the sofa. It never gets sloppy looking. The construction is very good and well-finished. I expect this sofa to look good for at least ten years. Turning it into a sleeper sofa is incredibly easy. Just flip it up and voila! You'd never guess that a sofa so small could turn into a true Queen size sleeper bed. Some minor drawbacks is that it's very firm when you sit on it--more than I'd like. I wouldn't want to spend more than a night or two sleeping on the firm bed. For my guests, I bought an eggcrate foam pad to make their sleep over more comfortable--which seems to compensate for the firmness. Also, when I lie on the sofa and dig my elbows into the cushion when reading, it takes about a half hour for my elbow imprint to go away. Finally, the extra rectangular pillows that I bought in addition to the sofa were cheap quality and not worth the price. The extra pillow material was cheap and the inside was identical to what you'd find in an airline pillow. You'd be better off buying your own somewhere else. |
