Pinwheels for the garden Hi, Love the concept of these playful pinwheels and will use them on my terrace (in flower pots). Wish they were a bit thicker; appear a bit fragile. Also, added finish "screw" & they turn much better. Am a happy camper! THANKS for the creativity, E. Smithe |

Great but ........ Purchase 2 of each size and I'm not really complaining as I can fix the issue. These are very well made SS pin wheels & drew allot of attention @ last weekend's Airstream Rally. Only issue is mid & large size are noisy in high wind conditions. Cause is the inside diameter of the hole of the grommets used on the pinwheels is too large Vs the outside diameter of the shafts on which the pinwheels turn. Thus causing the pinwheels to wobble & rub the vertical support stakes. Solution is to install piece of small tubing on the shaft pinwheel support shaft before installing the pinwheel to reduce the clearance between the pinwheel grommet & the support shaft diameter. I'm sure you can get small diameter brass or SS tubing at your local hobby store. I plan on taking one of the mid or large size pinwheels with me to store. With the piece of small tubing on the support shaft plus a small spacer added on the support shaft next to the vertical stake to space the pinwheel further away from the support stake --- issue solved. With the solution the pinwheels will be a 5-Star fun item!!! Regards, TPK Alamo, CA |

Not as much action as round-edged If looking for maximum action (spinning) for least amount of wind, get the rounded edged one instead. The pinwheels take more wind to get going. |

Great product! These are very well constructed pinwheels from quality materials. They spin smoothly and easily on the wind and look really fun and modern. I suspect they will last for several seasons for me. |
