To have two seperate inserts ...one for dry catfood and one for water is timesaving and efficient because you don't have to dump the whole thing at once just to freshen the water! To my way of thinking that is a big deal It is a quality design made of quality material holds up well and is not overpriced. Kitty likes it although she did not say so because she cannot talk. it works very well. Sandy Barnes
