Artruo Alvarez is one of the founders and the core engine of the company bearing his name. Along his career he has been able to bring together hundreds of people. The Bety model is placed in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Barcelona. In 2008, he won the prestigious "Good Design" award with his design, Gea.

Rather disappointed

I was quite sad when I installed this light and could see the bulb through the pieces of plastic. My dislike turned into frustration when my friend came over and asked "Did you make that yourself?". The picture on the website shows the bulb as hidden which makes the light look much more mature, but I couldn't get my light at home to look like that even rearranging the plastic strips. So I would caution against this light.
