In 1997, René Holten made the DoDo, his first design for Artifort that immediately secured him the prize for the best Dutch Furniture Design in 1998. Now, Holten has stamped his mark indelibly on the Artifort collection. He likes the sober, clean design of the company's seating. Holten (1961) trained at the Design Academy in Eindhoven.

The tightly upholstered cushions combined with the cleverly designed slim legs makes this sofa transparent and emphasizes the design. The legs are an endless part of the sofa, which continue between the arm and frame and the slightly higher frame on the back looks different from every angle. No matter where it is placed, this sofa will look perfect even free-standing.

By the 1960's, internationally, the furniture seemed to be very much in demand, which resulted in enormous sales growth which has continued to boom to this day. Innovation remains the key factor to all of Artifort's designs; captivating to the eye and functional design play key roles in all of their most prized designs.

Delivery InstructionsThis item will be delivered by a white glove freight carrier to ensure the safest and most convenient delivery. Please note:
- A white glove delivery team consists of at least two people so you will not be burdened with carrying your order from the back of the truck to your home.
- Once your order arrives in your area, a representative from the white glove carrier will call you to arrange a 4 hour window for delivery.
- You must inspect your package at the time of delivery. If the product has any damage or if you are concerned there may be damage, please write "Product Damaged" on the sheet you are asked to sign. This ensures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to resolve the problem.
