Bregonje (1964) graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven in 1990. Following that, he worked for three years with Paul van Leeuwen. However, Bregonje wanted to take a different path with his designing and went to Milan for a year where he became an industrial designer and explored various aspects of the discipline, including the technical aspects. Since November 2001, Bregonje has been a freelance designer based in Italy. He exhibits regularly in the Netherlands and abroad, including Paris, San Francisco and Milan. The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art has work by Bregonje in its collection.
