Emma Silvestris Italy (1962 - )An eclectic and versatile jewelry designer by trade, Emma Silvestris combines soft, feminine lines, the precision of geometry and classic elegance, as well as the use of ancient symbols, to create seemingly weightless designs. She is consistently noted for her incorporation of these characteristics, creating pieces that blend with the natural world, and have an ancient or antique quality of inspiration that is translated through modern materials and processes. The flowing and floating beauty of marine life is the inspiration for the Mediterraneo Bowl which is produced through a drawing to perforated laser cutting procedure. Its classic mirror-finished 18/10 stainless steel option is achieved through a special electrochemical process, while its Red finish features an epoxy coat over its 18/10 stainless steel form.
