Alessi Love Small Bowl by Miriam Mirri
Playful small bowl

I like the contrast between the bright color of the separable base with the highly polished stainless steel insert. Makes a stylish set of cat bowls. I could also imagine using them for serving condiments or dips. You do have to be a little careful when you pick the bowl up not to just grab the stainless steel part and then drop the base.
Stylish and Fun

I bought this as a stylish food bowl for my cat, because her bowl sits out on display and I thought it should look cool-and it does. It is also ideal as a cat bowl becuase of the stainless steel inner bowl (stainless recommended for cats). Only downsides: (1)the mirror finish on the stainless part of this 2 piece bowl has taken on a pattern [like an old "silvered" mirror], and (2) the outer (orange) bowl is plastic and can scratch easily. Buy it with that in mind re your intended uses and you should be pleased, as am I.
