Born in Padua, Italy, in 1961, this comic-strip artist and illustrator is a leading light in the renewal of Italian comic, dividing his time as a graphic artist, designer, musician and artist. More recently, Massimo Giacon has come to light as a promising consumer product designer, implementing his interesting, youthful and pop culture iconic artistry to his commissioned mass produced products for notable manufacturers. Each piece incorporates his revitalized Italian comic inspirations for a more fun, imaginative and artistic twist to everyday consumer products. These inspirations can easily be seen in Giacon's update of a common office desk item, the pencil holder. The Sebastiano Pencil Holder, as designed by Giacon, incorporates an element of fun and fiction to the common function of storing your pencils. Each holder is made from PMMA plastic, holds up to 23 pencils and is available in three color options.
