I ordered the table for its flexibility and that it looks solid and well, ship-shape. I was very pleased that the delivery team agreed to assemble the table. They put all the leaves in (except the narrow leaf that has the hole for the umbrella, which I will not be using indoors). It is possible to remove a leaf to square up the table as described on the website, but it took more effort than this elderly customer could muster. A visiting friend pulled out the extra leaf and squared it up for me. The chairs are absolutely beautiful and look even better in person. They feel very sturdy and well made, solid, firm, and quite heavy, which gives them a high quality presence. However, they are much harder than expected. While they’re fine for short periods, they’re not very comfortable for sitting over long stretches of time.
