It was a surprise! from Oklahoma City, OK on 09/13/2015 – Verified Buyer
I guess I didn't read everything before I ordered my new bookcase because it was a total surprise when I got them and found out they were made from recycled paper. I went ahead and put them together, paper tubes and sticky pads on the ends, and I liked them. They seem to be sturdy enough to hold everything I have put on so far.

Pros: Great value and easy to assemble. They can be recycled when we are finished with them.
Cons: Haven't found any so far.

It was okay from East Boston, MA on 02/19/2015 – Verified Buyer
I like the design on this. It is very modern. However, was smaller than I anticipated. Also the shelves are put together with small screws and double sided tape basically. I thought that was strange I have never purchased a piece of furniture that was put together with tape. If I move its going to be difficult to transport.

economic friendly = cheap from Charleston, SC on 06/22/2014 – Verified Buyer
First off. The bookcase is great for the price. However, I wouldn't put it anywhere children or dogs might get to it because it's not very sturdy. Assembly consisted of cardboard pegs and double sided tape. I'm not exaggerating that's all it is. Very cool looking once built (which took about five minutes). Just not built to last.

Not what I expected from Denver, CO on 09/12/2015 – Verified Buyer
This is basically heavy cardboard you put together with paper tubes. It is not at all sturdy, and not very stable.

Pros: You can design whatever combination of cubes that you like.
Cons: Couldn't use it for a shelf unit, but it worked great as part of a closet organization because I could configure the design.

Great decorative shelf from New Albany, OH on 04/30/2015 – Verified Buyer
This is a great shelf for a unique look. I bought it in white and it looks fantastic against my red wall.

Pros: Easy assembly, looks great
Cons: Though it has yet to fall, it seems to be a possibility. Not very sturdy. It is standing just fine and has for over a year, but it does get wobbly when I dust it.

Very economical from Austin, TX on 06/09/2015 – Verified Buyer
Cons: Light weight paperboard material; concern for the long-term stability as pieces attach with a double-sided tape. Feels cheap (suggested max load: 20lbs) And "expresso" color to match the rest of my furniture that was bought with that same color description and it did not match, the brown wasn't dark enough.

Pros: Very easy to put together. Reasonably priced.

nice looking but not super sturdy from Montclair, NJ on 10/01/2014 – Verified Buyer
I really like the look of this bookcase and it was very easy to put together. Unfortunately, I noticed the other day that the top corner is already warped (possibly from a water spill). I guess this is what happens with any cardboard-based materials, but still a bit of dissapointment since I only put it together about a month ago.

Beautiful Contempory Shelving Conversation Piece from Clearwater, FL on 01/06/2015 – Verified Buyer
This is more of a conversation piece than a bookcase. It was easy to assemble, just know that is it a recycled paper product. It looks beautiful. I have DVDs and CDs on half of three shelves and some light weight decor in the other spaces. I wouldn't put anything too heavy on this or put actual books in this case.

Cute and chic from Blair, OK on 05/22/2015 – Verified Buyer
Great bookcase, but not sturdy enough to fill with heavy books. For some books, and decorative items, this would work great!

Great bookcase for items that do not weigh too much. It looks great and I love the unique look that it gives my office space. Very easy to assemble, no tools required.
