Good bed for the budget from Ontario, Canada on 05/16/2011
We bought two of these beds for our girls. They were fairly easy to assemble and they look very nice once set up. We are quite happy with them. Only one small issue is they wobble quite a bit when not anchored to the wall so that is a necessary step.I've included a picture of the two beds in our girls room. You can see how having two of them can really maximize the space in a small room (the organizers under the bed are from [...]). The room is 8 x 12 and the girls now have a large play area due to using loft beds.

kids love this!!! from Centennial, CO on 09/18/2015
Purchased this for my granddaughter. She helped me assemble it and she then went on to decorate it with lights, scarves, boas and stuffed animals. I expected good quality of materials and fit, the bed exceeded my expectations. I mounted a shelf next to the bed for her clock radio and stuffed animals. She was so pleased!!! I promised one for my grandson, as soon as he cleans his room so he and I can assemble it. My granddaughter in Florida has the same bed. I only have three grand-kids or I would purchase more. (Since she treats it like a jungle-jim, I anchored it to the wall with a 2x4 screwed to the wall studs and 2" pipe straps around the legs, all painted black to match the bed. With the 2X4 mounted next to the rail holding the mattress, the 2x4 is behind the mattress and looks like it is part of the bed frame.)

Pros: high quality materials, powder coating and precision fit of all parts. great assembly instructions.

Happy with this purchase from Nashville, TN on 06/02/2014 – Verified Buyer
Just received this loft bed and it is so easy to assemble that my 15 and 16 year old sons put it together themselves in about an hour. The only reason for the 4 stars is that is could be improved with these changes to design: ladder is narrow and hard to climb and also uncomfortable on your feet (I'm looking into rubber grippers to wrap around the rungs); there's no opening at the top of the ladder so you have to climb over the side to get in/out which is a bit challenging; metal rails are uncomfortable if you sleep against them (so I am going to sew a bumper to provide padding). But we still are very happy with the bed in general and I'm glad we bought it. Arrived SUPER FAST.

Better than a bunk bed. from Gainesville, FL on 11/22/2015 – Verified Buyer
I bought two of these for my boys (8 and 11 yrs). They had an old bunkbed but had it laid out as two beds in their room. Since no one wanted to sleep in the bottom bunk, the whole room was bed. Now their desks and dressers are underneath the beds and the whole room has alot more space opened up in it. They were easy to put together and they are sturdy, My 11 yr old weighs 162 lbs and he does not feel unsafe crawling up into it. We did have to buy an extra tool to put one of them together because the weld had left a burr in one of the screw holes (about 25$) and one of the boxes was missing the manual but this was not a problem for us because we had bought two. There is plenty of clearance on top as we have ten foot ceilings. I would recommend this to anyone for upgrading the kiddie bed to a preteen bed.

Pros: nice price, fast delivery
Cons: might need additional tools to finish, might have to download instructions from internet.

Nice loft bed for the price. I appreciated everyone's reviews that emphasized the need for wall anchors to stabilize. I haven't done that yet, and it hasn't been a problem, but believe that would give me peace of mind. The ladder is uncomfortable to climb, but my daughter hasn't complained yet...perhaps because she is smaller and lighter. I am very glad to have purchased this...it has helped with the space issue in my girls room. My husband had no complaints or difficulty assembling it in one afternoon.

Sturdy, Nice finish, easy to assemble! from Brandenburg, KY on 12/14/2015 – Verified Buyer
I am a mom buying this bed for my 10yr old. I rely on product reviews to make decisions so I will try to be thorough as well. This bed came packaged very securely with every piece individually wrapped in plastic and labeled clearly - love opening something and not worrying about scratches or dings. The instructions were very clear and well diagramed so I was able to assemble the entire bed by myself in roughly and hour (I wasn't in a hurry so two people can get done quicker). The bed is very sturdy metal and painted very thick so this isn't something that feels flimsy or cheap, which is great because I preferred this style over the traditional wood beds that chip and dent and are hard to clean.

Pros: Durable finish, easy to assemble.
Cons: none

Great Idea from Gautier, MS on 12/17/2014
This is bed is a wonderful space safer for a small bedroom for a child. I am so glad that I made this purchase. The only problem that I see is that the ladders are built-in on the ends. I wish that there were ladders on all sides because my son has to climb over the top rails to get into the bed. There is no opening in the rails.

best loft bed on the market from Montreal on 04/09/2015 – Verified Buyer
This loft bed has the greatest design in that it maximizes available room space. By runnjng the ladders vertically up each side, you are given the flexibility of placing it anywhere in a room and you lose no floor space by having a ladder running up the middle of the unit on a slight incline. I've been able to fit a desk,a cosmetics table and a beanbag chair under my daughter's bed. Nice clean, timeless finish. Highly recommended!

Lots of Loft for the Money from Panama City, FL on 05/26/2015 – Verified Buyer
My daughter loves it, and it opened up a lot of room in her small room. You do have to take the extra step of anchoring it to the wall if you want it to be really secure. Also, somewhat a pain to change sheets because the bed is so high in the air. Still really glad we got it and worth the time it took to put it together.

Pros: Lots of loft for the money
Cons: None, but you need to anchor it to the wall if you want it sturdy

Loft Bed from Bellevue, WA on 08/15/2014 – Verified Buyer
This bed was fairly easy to put together. It is a little less stable than I would have liked but only using it for smaller grandkids and it fits well perpendicularly over the queen bed in the same room.

Q. "Is there a certain height the ceiling has to be for this loft bed?"
