The couch is ok comfortable wise, it is a bit firm, which I like. However I wish the back cushions were a bit firmer. It's a good couch, but it won't my favorite. However the sectional seat is the best seat on the couch. The Seat cushion does stick out a good amount from the base. If you are a stickler for details, it may bother you. After months of search and frustration with long lead times, ended up getting this sofa in a spur of a moment, without even measuring it properly. No regrets! It turns out the cats don’t scratch it, which is a huge plus! It replaced our oversized, overly plush sectional, so it was a bit of an adjustment. It’s comfortable but not on the soft side - which was one of the replacement objectives. It arrived in less than a week, the delivery was well communicated and super easy - they even took the packaging materials. It required drilling holes for screws to attach the legs (or my hubby just likes his tools, not sure). Speaking is legs, I’m thrilled I can clean the dust under so easily! Was very happy with my choice initially. Quick delivery, brought inside on a second floor apartment, and it arrived in one box. The quality of the couch however is really not worth the price (Black Friday Discount 1000). Pros: The top material of the couch is like a courderoy material. It holds up well to cat scratches, cat hair, and cat chases. Despite the wrong color, it still matches my decor and the chaise section is very comfortable with pillows added. The legs look good and it's high enough off the ground for my robot vaccum, which is what I intended. Cons: The color is not cream as stated, but more of a sand/tan color. The underneath and back of the couch are made with a super cheap and flimsy black crepe material. It rips very very easily. My cats found the first tear, and now both are in shreds. Installation was another con. It sounds easy, just installing the feet. NOPE. NONE OF THE HOLES WERE PREDRILLED. NONE. They were marked with little white dots and then it took a lot of work with a power drill to make each of the holes ( four per foot, 6 feet, plus five for each of the four plates the ottoman part attaches to). I also had to tighten each screw with a screwdriver because of the angles of the feet. I hurt my neck and shoulder drilling all these holes. I like the construction of the couch, it’s very sturdy and is of good quality. The size is perfect and the sectional area is great for cuddling. My only issue is the color. From the online pictures, it looked almost like black or a dark, dark gray. In real life, with natural sunlight, it has blue undertones which is slightly disappointing as most of my stuff is on the greige side but I’ll be keeping it because I returned another couch for this one and don’t think I’ll find anything as good (nor do I want to keep looking). I’ll have to tone down the blue with neutral pillows and throws. (I didn’t put the legs on yet so that’s why the couch is so low to the ground in the photos) **Update a month in and I LOVE this couch. The color has grown on me, the blue-ness has faded and with my new rug it all ties in together nicely. Beat part, my dog’s hairs easily wipe off with my hand, as do any stains made by my 6-year-old.
